"This pet water dispenser is designed with a wide, stable base (the bowl part at the bottom has a broad, weighted structure) — it’s much harder for cats to tip over compared to regular bowls. The large water tank is also securely attached to the base, so even if your cat nudges it, it stays steady."

No, and an excellent purchase, and answering my own question! Casper - white cat - adapted to this immediately. She tried hard to tip it, has now given up this habit. The dispenser is gravity fed, and Casper - who also liked to drink from taps, now drinks at the point water enters the bowl.

Whenever possible we would recommend changing the water every two days although it could last longer if required.
