5yr old foot is too small, my 8 yr olds fitted okay
My kids are shoe size 12 and 1 and the shoes are huge on them!! They have Velcro so I suppose technically they ‘fit’ but because they are kids even with the fewest amount of bands they don’t work as the elastic is still too strong to give any bounce. They fit me as an adult at size 6 fine!

I wouldnt say so as you jump In them and they spring back my son is fairly heavy
