Storage Unit NOT only for CD and DVD!
Great product and ya can use it as well as a figurine holder. I needed it above my Murphy Bed and Cupboard to close the gap between that and sealing. Easy to build together and it fits like a glove with that said can highly recommend the Storage Unit

Does the job
Really happy with this unit. We bought for DVD storage and its fine. There is 2 shelves that dont fit DVDs because of how the middle shelf is placed but it's not a big deal

Not great for dvd or blueray
Great for storing cds, not so good at dvd or blueray as the way the shelf slots are set out, dvds won't fit on the top compartment or the middle compartment. But the quality of the shelving is great.

Hello Mo,
Argos Home Maine Tall CD and DVD Storage unit - Black
Standard DVD cases are generally around 14 mm thick, while standard Blu-ray cases are typically 12 mm thick. Blu-ray cases also come in slimmer versions, with thicknesses such as 7.5 mm and even 6 mm - The dimensions can vary between manufacturers. As such, you can store 66 standard DVDs, or more than 66 Blue-Ray cases, in this unit.

Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Home Maine Tall CD and DVD Storage unit - White:
The structure of this product is NOT suitable for adding cabinet legs.
Thank you for using Q&A.
The pre drilled holes for the shelves do not allow DVDs to stand vertically on every shelf as the spacing is incorrect for this However if you have some basic diy skills you can drill extra holes to correct this and then the unit will take 80 DVDs that can easily be extracted Shame this spacing option does not come as standard I have adapted two units to do this and would buy this product again
Hi Dave,
The Argos Home Maine Tall CD and DVD Storage unit - White can hold 66 DVDs.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Yes except the botom all other shelfs are the same size you can adjust them for CD or DVD sized shelves. 1 shelves total for CD sizes
Hi Marc,

Having checked I can see the shelves are adjustable so you can position in a number of places however they are not all equal. Please see side panel on page 4 of the manual below for spacing available:
