These binoculars offer excellent clarity, magnification, and value for money, ideal for astronomy and birdwatching. They are heavy, so a tripod is recommended for extended use.

Great clarity
I am delighted with these binoculars. The clarity is fantastic and I expected them to be heavier. I find I can use them handheld for shorter periods but would recommend a tripod for longer periods of viewing . As others have stated, a metal tripod adaptor would probably help as opposed to the plastic one supplied.

Excellent binoculars
Clear bright image with good magnification. Primarily bought for astronomy but good for birdwatching as well. Good balance if held a little further forward and not as heavy or cumbersome as you might expect. Having said that, they do benefit from using a tripod

Great clarity
The binoculars were amazing and in my opinion equal to models of a much higher price

Good value for money
For the price paid these are good. The tripod mount is cheap though and buyers will probably want to buy something more solid. I bought them as a pair that I could hold freehand and also mount on a tripod for both nature viewing and also for the night sky, it does both of these the quality of the glass abs view is good taking into account the relatively low price.

Great, clear binoculars
Bought these on holiday as the views were fantastic and binoculars screamed out to me. Researched a few and settled on these - they are easy focus, very clear and better at distance viewing than I had hoped. Great binoculars!

Hi there.
I can advise that the Celestron Skymaster 15x70 Porro Prism Binoculars are ideal for terrestrial use and with the high power zoom, these are perfect to look out at sea. It is recommended to use with a tripod for extra stability.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Stargazer
Since the distance between the eyes (specifically, the distance between the centers of the pupils) varies among individuals, the two eyepieces of the binoculars must be correctly aligned (adjusted). This is called adjusting the interpupillary distance. To adjust this distance, lift the binoculars up to your eyes (using both hands) and look through them at an object in the distance. Move the two halves of the binoculars about the hinge until you see one clear circle of image through both eyes.
