Terrible quality
Awful….barely lasted 4 months before the temperature gauge broke and it burnt through my clothes. Stopped using immediately as felt item dangerous

Not amazing but does a job
Bought this item a couple months ago, and honestly not that impressed really. As an iron it does a job but you have to keep leaving it on the plate to heat up, otherwise it starts cooling down and pretty quickly too, you may as well just have a corded iron and it would work better, the only difference between this and a corded iron is that the cord doesn't prohibit you but it kind of defeats the object if you have to keep putting it back to heat up. And it is absolutely NOT anti drip, the thing drips everywhere and is so annoying.

The worst iron I've ever had
I don't usually leave reviews, neither bad or good ones, but this iron definitely needs a constructive feedback. Don't get me wrong, it's cordless and easy to use, and you can't expect to be powerful, however, the seller claims that this iron is leak proof, whereas it's leaking all the time. Also, the middle heats up so much sometimes, that it burns clothes with first application to the material, and then it's absolutely fine afterwards. Sometimes the green light indicates that is ready to use but whe you start ironing, it's not hot at all. I'm not over the moon with this product and would not recommend it until these faults will get fixed.

Works great cordless
I got this as a replacement for a corded one as my wife was worried about the cord near the ironing board but this one is easy to use just place on the base when not using during ironing this keeps it on charge and works great

Fantastic iron
I brought this when my iron broke and I can honestly say this is fantastic not to have a cord in your way and it heats up within seconds and I would recommend it to anyone

Hi Qaz.
Morphy Richards 303250 Cordless Steam Iron, it is recommended to return the iron to its base when you change the item you're ironing, to maximize performance.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Green light lites up on front
Hello Cass,
There is a dial underneath the handle which shows the different settings, you need to turn the dial to select the right setting and then wait for the Temperature Indicator Light to switch off which will show it is ready to use.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
When the red light goes out.
A green light pings on after a few seconds to let you know it’s at optimum temperature. Its quite fast between heating up.
Hi Lynn, the use of distilled, deionised or demineralised water is recommended due to problems that can occur with appliances due to the build up of limescale. Thanks, Demi.
Hi,
I can confirm you are able to use tap water however to reduce the risk of limescale build up it is advised that you use distilled, deionised or demineralised water, especially if you live in a hard water area.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A

Hi Ally, there is a steam switch that you would switch on and then if you would like extra steam, you can press the steam boost button. I hope this helps. Thanks, Demi.
Automatic steam when using the iron but you have a button for steam which gives it an extra shot if items creased
Hi there,
No you do not have to press the button to produce steam.
Thanks for using Q&A
No but be very careful.as soon as the temperatures drop and they do quite quickly, the water pours out when the iron is in an upward position.
I found this product very disappointing, so returned it for a refund .
yes
No. It has auto steam function or you can turn it off.
You don't have to, but if you want an extra blast of steam you can. It's a great iron & we highly recommend it.
No where near long enough.
The model 303250 will stay hot for around 10-12 seconds. Ashley
Hello Milly,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The model 303250 will stay hot for around 10-12 seconds.
Hope this helps
Thank you for using Q and A.
It stays very hot to iron whatever it is you are ironing. Just put it back while moving the item & it’s very hot again. It’s a very good iron.
Not warm for long enough in my opinion
I want few seconds for light to go green i iron for a bout a minute at a time , but it heats really quick....only problem i have it leaves water on the clothes....if honest I'm thinking of going back to a corded iron.
This is OK but not what I expected for the money.
It’s the worse iron we’ve had wouldn’t recommend it can’t iron a shirt have reheat it 4 times
As soon as you use it in your garment you ironed I put back straight away. Last good while I say 2 to 3 minutes.
The 3 years warranty is an extended warranty that is with Morphy Richards, you do have to register it with us for the extended timeframe. If its purchased direct and you want to return it would be a cost postage.
Yes as its red plastic you should see this clearly :)
Hi Robbo, I can confirm that you can choose to switch the steam off entirely if you like so yes it can be used as a dry iron. Jordan.
Hi there,
No, this iron does not include a water jug.
