Great light for in the garage
The unit was easy to install (needed to drill 2 holes). It is at the back of our garage and senses when we walk in or park the car, giving a good light source without a need to fumble for a light switch. The angle of the two lights are independently adjustable. The light is bright enough for a large single garage - may not be enough for a very large garden. It only works when the ambient light is low (so from dusk to dawn only), which stops it from operating unnecessarily during the day. Only had it a few weeks, so can't comment on how long the batteries will last. Very pleased with it so far.

Does the job it is designed for.
The light is very good & works well. Brightness is just right for what i needed it for. Like that it is powered by AA batteries, so rechargeables are just the job for it.

Good….but difficult
This works very well and is nice and bright, but I found it difficult to fit the batteries and replace them too.

Battery operated outside light
Light works very well and is quite bright for a battery operated light. Battery life is good and makes dark areas feel much safer at night. Pir is reasonably sensitive and light covers quite a large area. Sturdy enough to stay out in all weathers.

Chuffed Cockney!
I purchased this motion detecting exterior light because someone stole my pride and joy motorcycle from right outside my front room window. Its instructions were simple, even for me and the first time someone walked by the brightness pleasantly surprised me. It beats the pants out of any solar light because it is battery powered. My solar system was useless in the winter time. Best thirty odd quid I’ve spent in years!! Thanks Argos for a refreshingly top value item. Keep it up you guys!!

Not recommended
Disappointed with this, the sensors are very poor, would have returned if I hadn't already drilled through the mounting plate.
