About this product
The Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro is a proper all-in-one machine for anyone with pets. It vacuums, washes and dries floors in a single pass, so you're not going over the same spot with different tools. The multi-surface brush roll works with the pet cleaning solution to tackle muddy paws, spills and general mess faster than dragging out a mop and bucket. It's corded with a long cable that gives you plenty of reach, and works across carpets, rugs, sealed wood, laminate, tiles and vinyl. It's manageable to move around, and the motorised floorhead does the hard work for you.
The separate clean and dirty water tanks mean you're always using fresh water on your floors, not pushing muck around. You can cover a fair bit of ground before refilling or emptying. The brush roll scrubs thoroughly without pushing dirty water back onto your floors, and it's designed for pet hair and stubborn bits. You get a multi-surface brush roll, dirty tank strainer, self-cleaning storage tray, and pet formula included. It has cord storage to keep things tidy. Suitable for carpets, rugs, wool carpet, sealed laminate, sealed wood, sealed tiles, lino and vinyl.

I tried only once. Definitely floor is nice clean, no streaks. Leaves little water sometimes, but need to find how much water you should use. Need more experience. It’s noisy.

Very good performance, well done Bissell
This is our second one of these, we bought a new one when our 3 year old one stopped working correctly, it did very well, we have a large house with Amtico floors on two levels and it was used an awful lot as we have ten dogs. The new one works beautifully, cleaning and drying floors incredibly well. A few tips on using them, always vacuum prior to cleaning and keep the top filter and roller clean and generally keep the head unit clean, it will ensure the cleaner works efficiently. Hopefully the latest cleaner will last as long as the previous one. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

Saves hours!

Effective but takes a bit of getting used to
I've waited to leave a review as I wouldn't have rated this very highly if I'd written it after the first couple of uses. I bought this as I thought it would save time and effort instead of sweeping my hard floors then going over with them with a steam mop. It does save time as it vacuums and washes at the same time and it leaves the floors really clean. It's taken me a few goes to get the balance between spraying the water and using the vacuum to avoid streaks or drips. I like that you can use it on rugs, it took out a stubborn stain out of the carpet that our Vax hadn't shifted. It does take a bit of cleaning after you've used it but I think on balance it's better than and takes less time than having to sweep the floors and then steam mop them.

Good machine overall
Good machine, cleans well and leaves floors mopped and quick to dry. But you’ll still need a Hoover and a steamer as this is ok for cleaning up immediate messes but not good just on its own for stubborn stuff. Also, waste bin fills all to quickly. Yes it’s loud, but it does the job.

The BISSELL Multi-Surface Pet Formula (2550) does contain alcohol-based ingredients. Specifically, it includes:
- Alcohol Alkoxylate, which acts as an emulsifying agent.
- Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate, which serves as a nonionic surfactant.
These ingredients help enhance the cleaning efficacy of the formula. However, it does not contain ethanol as a standalone ingredient.

It's suitable for carpets and rugs (wool carpet), sealed laminate flooring, sealed wood flooring, sealed tile flooring, laminate, lino, and vinyl. If yours fits these criteria, it's likely to be OK but we'd advise that you check with the manufacturer of your flooring before considering any purchase.
