Effective but takes a bit of getting used to
I've waited to leave a review as I wouldn't have rated this very highly if I'd written it after the first couple of uses. I bought this as I thought it would save time and effort instead of sweeping my hard floors then going over with them with a steam mop. It does save time as it vacuums and washes at the same time and it leaves the floors really clean. It's taken me a few goes to get the balance between spraying the water and using the vacuum to avoid streaks or drips. I like that you can use it on rugs, it took out a stubborn stain out of the carpet that our Vax hadn't shifted. It does take a bit of cleaning after you've used it but I think on balance it's better than and takes less time than having to sweep the floors and then steam mop them.

Light and easy to use

Good machine overall
Good machine, cleans well and leaves floors mopped and quick to dry. But you’ll still need a Hoover and a steamer as this is ok for cleaning up immediate messes but not good just on its own for stubborn stuff. Also, waste bin fills all to quickly. Yes it’s loud, but it does the job.

Great Hoover - Shame no attachments
Great item and does amazing cleaning up after my Labrador. I love that you can hoover and mop all in one. Only downside is it doesn't have attachments. Would have been good if I could clean along the top of skirting etc.

Great and saves time
This is a great floor cleaner, I have a dog and a cat and this cleans the floor really well and picks up the pet fur. It saves a lot of time not having to hoover or sweep floor first. It is early days but do far it's really good. The only downside is it's a bit loud.

Disappointed
I bought this floor washer in hope it would save my back. However, it does not clean tiles that have a small pattern. Laminate yes maybe smooth shiny tiles. But not kitchen tiles. And the digital buttons drive you mad it keeps turning off when you move your hand. It needs a strong brush attachment to clean kitchen tiles.

Seems to do the job well
Seems to be doing a good job, picking up dog hairs and cleaning tiled and wood floor. Much easier than mopping it’s also nice and light.

The BISSELL Multi-Surface Pet Formula (2550) does contain alcohol-based ingredients. Specifically, it includes:
- Alcohol Alkoxylate, which acts as an emulsifying agent.
- Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate, which serves as a nonionic surfactant.
These ingredients help enhance the cleaning efficacy of the formula. However, it does not contain ethanol as a standalone ingredient.

It's suitable for carpets and rugs (wool carpet), sealed laminate flooring, sealed wood flooring, sealed tile flooring, laminate, lino, and vinyl. If yours fits these criteria, it's likely to be OK but we'd advise that you check with the manufacturer of your flooring before considering any purchase.
