Slow cooker
I bought the slow cooker a few weeks ago it is brilliant

Super duper slow coo-kerr
First use- Chicken stew. Great to pre warm the stock on the stove just till it started to gently steam, which gives it boost to get up to temperature quickly. I filled the pot to the brim just to where the lid sits in the recess with chicken & veg & stock slightly watery but full of the ingredients etc. I used it on medium settings 6 - 8 hours mode and it was cooked in 5 hours but left it for 6. Very little water loss & didn't bubble over. Very easy to clean as the lid slides on and off and cools down quickly to put away. I do batch cooking of stews, curries & chillis for the freezer. I get nine 0.6L tubs for the freezer and the rest is the meal i eat which was about 0.8L. So all in all you do get 6.3L when full to the brim. Very good.

We bought this a few weeks ago and have used it so many times since. The insert can be used on the hob prior to slow cooking which is really useful. Great size and super versatile.

Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Morphy Richards 6.5L Hinged Lid Slow Cooker - Black:
The hinged lid comes as one single piece, the hinge itself and the lid to which is it attached. It slots into a mount at the back of the cooker. You don't need to screw it on to this mount, it just slots in and out so it's removable for cleaning.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi there, this is model 461020. Thanks, Izabel
Yes model 461020
Having just received and unpacked this very item I can now answer my own question. According to the label stuck to the bottom of the actual product the power is 240-290W. This makes the Argos description correct and both the Expert answer and manufacturers website wrong. I have to ask why is it so difficult to get really basic information you can trust?
Hi there, this Slow Cooker is 163w. Thanks, Izabel
