Really quiet..good.
Really good. I bought to use on my rescue cats claws that are as sharp at the points. I have the scars. Sturdy and the size good to work with. I think great for dogs and cats if ok getting their claws touched. I really have not used yet still letting her look at it and gently running over her paws. Hopefully will work soon as easier than clippers. Very quiet too.

Dog Nail Grinder
I bought this after a suggestion from my vet. My dog has a nail disorder which causes the nails grow differently. Clippers are not an option. I’ve used it several times and really pleased with it. It’s quiet and my dog accepts it which I was a little worried about. Using it means we can reduce the nail a little and often. Recommend highly

Wouldn't either bother it's a really cheap thing. Soon as you apply pressure to grind the motor can't ha dle it and stops very weak.
Hi GaryD, we do not specify a length of time for the bands to last as this is very dependant on the time and frequency of use. Less often will mean the bands last longer than when it is used for long periods and more often. Replacement bands can be bought from wahl.co.uk.
