It was great whilst it worked! However, Argos replaced it without any hassle - so cannot fault the high quality customer service I received. The new unit appears to be working ok 🤞

You get what you pay for I guess. Beautiful looking no question there! It does however keep cutting off mid use and isn't very powerful. Be OK in a box room but that is it.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Electric Diffuser.
There is no heating element to warm the water. Instead, mist is generated by an ultrasonic disc to disperse fragrance when oil is added.

The supplier has advised the following for the Electric Diffuser:
Please only use with fragrance oil or water-based fragrance. (Acidic oil can damage the diffuser). We’d also advise to check the instructions for the oil you’d want to use to ensure that it’s suitable for this type of diffuser before considering its use.
Please add 2 to 3 drops of fragrance oil to a full tank of water. For a stronger fragrance add more drops of oil, but do not exceed 4 drops. Do not add more than 2 drops of fragrance oil to 20ml of water. Adding too much oil will also damage the diffuser.
