A pleasure to walk on
I bought this after upgrading my entire house including the hallway. I wanted the modern look of the stripes and the colours link to the walls in the front room. The weird light coloured end shown in the photos isn't apparent in the actual runner, thankfully. I don't anticipate it getting much wear since I now take off my shoes as soon as I enter the porch and I won't be having many guests! I also bought a new doormat to reduce the amount of dirt being tracked in. So far I haven't needed to hoover it but a quick once over with an old school carpet sweeper did the job in seconds. At the same time I bought a strip of underlay which is definitely needed on plain wooden floors because it slipped until I put it underneath. It is comfortable underfoot and I anticipate it lasting well since I look after my stuff, even if it is inexpensive which this was - especially as it, and the underlay was on a promotion.

This is the second of these I have purchased, to go in my L-shaped hallway. Brightens the space and feels nice to walk on. I've fitted it with non-slip rubber pads, resulting in no movement. Vacuums well. Very pleased.
