Efficient heater.
This radiator heated up fast. Quicker than the oil filled ones in my opinion. It is easy to roll from room to room, although would be too heavy for me to carry upstairs. I think it will save me money in spring and autumn as I will use it instead of my oil central heating in those seasons.

This non oil Dimplex is the very very best I have ever had in many many years and holds the temprature extremely well in a completely separate room were theres no heating being an extension building attached to my bungaow. extremely safe with a marvellous thermostat. The heater is tested and intended for indoor domestic rooms, not for garages that may be uninsulated, damp, exposed to outdoor air or likely to experience condensation directly on the unit.
You could use the Dimplex radiator in your garage only if it's dry and insulated enough to count as an indoor-like space.

When the room reaches the desired room temperature the heater will cycle off and when the room goes below the temperature set the heater will cycle back on.

Yes the whole fins should heat up with the exception from the front one due to the control box being on the very front fin
