Not Argos' fault but ...
Ah, well. It is not really Argos' fault. Product has a manufacturing fault - the pan does not align with the lid which does not sit on it! Shame as we've had good service before on this company's products. Bit spooked so money coming back! Trying Argos's new(?) on line returns option on this

Actually really great
I never usually bother to post reviews, especially not for small things like pans, but this is really really good. Very sturdy, properly non-stick and very easy to clean. I've had this one for months now and used it loads of times and it still looks just as good as when I got it. I use it all the time on my electric stove and it's really even and flat, good for sauteing stuff like potatoes cos the protective lid stops the oil from spitting everywhere, and great for soups and stews. 100% reccommend.

No - the manufacturer website currently clearly states this casserole is not suitable for oven use - it says this in both the description and details sections on the Scoville site

They are different by the depth and volume. It mightmake the difference if you like making, say, stuffed peppers -more convenient in a deeper pan.
