Tracks don't stay connected
The tracks connect like a puzzle but the connection is very poor so they keep getting loose. When that happens the circuit that keeps the car running stops making it frustrating as you cannot do 2 laps without having to fix them. You then fix one end and the other immediately breaks. Don't recommend at all.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson as a birthday present. He played it with his seven year old brother. The laughter and giggles coming from the room while they played was exquisite. I wish I could have bottles it. However ,I do have a video of the moment which I have played over and over. Good quality excellent value.

Good value for money
I bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it. The connectors on the karts are prone to fraying and come away from the track more than I'd like but for the price and accessibility for young ones, you can't complain too much!

The supplier has advised the following for the Carrera First Mario Kart Racing Set:
Yes you can add the tracks together to build a bigger track but only one battery-box track can be used. You can't set up the boxes from both sets on the expanded track.
