Good toy for my Grandson.
I bought this for my as part of my Grandson's Christmas presents. I was there when he opened it. He loved it. It is not overly complicated for a 3 and a half year old. It was easy enough to assemble. Yeah good present.

Great fun!
Bought this as a last minute Christmas present for my 13 year old. I wasn't sure what his reaction was going to be, but thought if he didn't like it I could give it to his younger sister. But, his eyes lit up when he unwrapped it, and wanted to set it up straight away. It was easy to set up, and he spent most of Boxing Day playing with it, and played with it each day of the holiday. I think for the price, this is excellent, 20 odd quid you can't go wrong. The only gripe would be you need battery type c as you can't plug the track into the mains. Those batteries are not usually in a regular shops either, plus you need four of them. But only a minor gripe as it's a great toy and the batteries are still working perfectly a week after first putting them in.

The supplier has advised the following for the Carrera First Mario Kart Racing Set:
Yes you can add the tracks together to build a bigger track but only one battery-box track can be used. You can't set up the boxes from both sets on the expanded track.
