Nice and clean
Got this last month and used it for the first time yesterday. It’s extremely easy to put together very fast no issues at all . Good quality machine very stable on the carpet. I do like the light that comes on when drying and washing .the result was a great clean carpet and much much dryer carpet than my old machine. It has a dry only feature that works very well. I would recommend this machine very well priced .also it has some great tools for cleaning the stairs and spot cleaning.

Good product for a busy family
I bought this a month ago and have already used it to clean my whole house,carpets look like new. It is easy to ise once you are used to it and not too heavy to use.I have also used a few times for spillages to dry the carpet so definitely driving very useful!Carpets do sadly only maintain the new feeling for a few days but still remain clean at least!

Done the job & easy to use
I've only used this once, so I'm basing the review off that. I'm currently pregnant, so nesting started :) I did a bit of research compared to other carpet cleaners, and for the money plus wattage etc, this seemed to be the best one (It was on a sale at the time). It was easy to put together and use. Even though the item is quite large, it was pretty light weight. After doing all the carpets, it only took around 1-2hours to dry, and this was in the month of January (I didn't have my central heating on at the time either). The dry only mode helped it dry quicker too and it's worth going over what you've done with it too. The brushes made the carpet fluff up more which was a bonus. For the money, it was worth it and it worked out cheaper to buy one than rent one each time.

it does a decent job drying , all auto , forward wash /back to dry, and the shampoo is good also thats auto fed as well, but somehow i got musty smelling carpets , thats using vax shampoo as well , so was happy but not so now

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vax Platinum Smartwash Upright Carpet Cleaner:
I can confirm the machine does not have any sort of a heating element to it. However, it will suck up a lot of the water to the point that it will only take a few hours to dry once completed, especially during the summer in warm weather.
