The Bush BGC60SWX 60cm Single Gas Cooker brings everything you need for everyday meals into one freestanding appliance. With 4 gas burners on top, a 65-litre conventional oven, and a gas grill, you've got all the essentials for roasting, baking and grilling without any fuss. The easy-clean enamel interior means you can wipe away spills and splatters quickly, cutting down on scrubbing time. Front-mounted dials keep controls within easy reach, and the push-button ignition gets your burners lit straight away.
The oven offers 5 shelf positions so you can cook multiple crockery at different heights, while the double-glazed door window lets you check on progress without losing heat. The gas grill is combined with the main oven and includes flame failure device (FSD) technology, which automatically stops the gas flow if the flame goes out - adding reassurance when you're busy. Finished in crisp white, it's a freestanding design that's suitable for use with LPG using the included adaptor kit. not a great oven for a disabled person,
i bought thinking it would be okay for a disable person, however when my friend installed it they showed me that i have to slot a shield into the top of the over to use the grill, That not practical for someone in a wheelchair. Plus where on earth do you store this piece of metal. i would say look before your buy.

Not what it says on the tin!!
Page 39 of the online manual for this appliance gives full instructions of how to change the oven lamp. After the installers had left I found the oven light was not coming on. I contacted Argos Customer Services and was put through to there Technical Appliance Support Team who later emailed to confirm that the light did not need to be activated but rather it should automatically come off on when the oven is in use. Argos decided there must be a fault and a week later delivered a replacement. This was installed, then the installation engineer stated that there was no light in the oven is- that the model I had purchased did not have a light in the oven!!! I was flabbergasted and very disappointed - JUST WHY DOES A MANUFACTURER SUPPLY A MODEL SPECIFIC MANUAL GIVING INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS OF HOW TO CHANGE A PART THAT DOESN'T EVEN EXIST!!! It was, to say the least, certainly misleading and may well breach the Trade Desncription Act. I haven’t tried the cooker yet but feeling unable to face going through the whole process of selection/delivery/installation again, I have decided to keep it. But buyers beware this model does not have an oven light!!

The flame failure safety device was a smart addition – a total killer instinct that cuts the gas the second the flame dies, because in this kitchen, you don't survive by leaving loose ends. It’s cheap, it’s tough, and it rules the room.
