About this product
Cats using your fence as a motorway, squirrels treating the garden wall like their climbing frame. These prickle strips sit along the top, making it uncomfortable enough for them to find somewhere else. They're not sharp enough to cause harm, just enough to deter. Made from weather-resistant polypropylene that won't crack or fade in the sun, so they'll still work next year. You get six strips that fix down with cable ties, screws, nails or silicone, whatever you have. They work on garden walls, fences, sheds, anywhere animals get over that you'd rather they didn't.

Fox / cat deterent
Having bought this item twice so that I could install it completely around the garden to fend off foxes from entering the garden . Is so simple to install and has proved extremely effective in its purpose. No foxes have been seen in the garden since it's attachment on top of all the fences. The lengths are ideal as 4 strips fit one fence panel exactly.- well designed.

No use for deterring squirrels
I can't say how this product does in preventing cats, however I bought it to prevent squirrels getting at my bird feeder, when I saw a squirrel sittn on one of the stip I realised tha it wasn't going to work!! The product seems well made though and is easy to fitad I guess if you are trying to deter cats, quite possibly effective.

Cat deterrent
Very happy with this product. Fastens over the whole of the top of the fence curvature. Durable to all kinds of weather and keeps the neighbours cat out from fighting with mine. Recommended 5 stars.

Fixed the problem
Fixed to top of fence to prevent cat sitting on fence by a bird box . It was a bit awkward to fix as the points got in way of attaching to fence

Cats phew!
I hoped these would keep the local cat out my yard, but I think the one that keeps trying has been trained by Vaslav Nijinsky, it seems to be able to dance through the gaps between the spikes. The deterrent is there though, not a bad product, for te price some screws would add to its value.

I recently purchased 3 boxes of fence toppers with prior to a neighbor's cat. Since adjusting these fixtures onto my back garden top fences it has actually been a positive result.

Yes, I would think so. They wouldn't be able to jump up onto the window sill if the spikes were there as they wouldn't get any purchase on the sill with their paws. The strips are designed to be screwed down onto a wooden fence so if your sills are upvc, not sure how you would attach them though
