It's just ok!
A bit pricey for the quality, however my son is happy with it and is fairly easy to function with minimal instructions!

Faulty
LED display was unreadable so a refund was issued. It was a purchase for my grandson and he was disappointed that the clock was faulty.

Terrible Experience – Poor Product & No Refund Pol
I recently purchased an alarm clock from Argos, and it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The design is terrible, and it is unnecessarily difficult to operate. Wanting to check if it would work for me, I carefully opened the packaging and inspected the clock, only to realize it was not fit for purpose. The next day, I went back to Argos to return it for a refund, only to be flatly refused because the packaging had been opened. Apparently, breaking the security seal makes it non-returnable—but how else am I supposed to check the product without opening it? It’s a completely unfair policy that traps customers into keeping items they don’t want. I tried explaining this to the staff and even spoke to the branch manager, but they refused to listen or make any exception. Terrible customer service and an unfair returns policy. This experience has put me off shopping at Argos again. Avoid unless you’re 100% sure about what you’re buying—because once opened, you're stuck with it!

Hello Robbybobby,
Yes, the PlayStation Alarm Clock is plugged into the mains using the plug provided.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hannah from Argos is wrong and so are all the other Argos employees who answered that this clock plugs into the mains. IT DOES NOT PLUG INTO THE MAINS IT COMES WITH A USB CABLE.You then have to find a suitable plug to plug it into the mains therefore costing more money oh yeah and the disappointment that your kid cant use it straight away. SORT THIS OUT ARGOS answered 2 January 2022
my son got this for a gift and I read the leaflet. It says NOT to charge in the mains but you need a compatible mains transformer?. Not very good if you need to keep it on mains all the time. These are usually battery powered. Wouldnt waste my money if you are thinking of buying.
Hi,
I can confirm this is plugged into the mains using the plug provided.
