Excellent product
Bought for Sony Tv and it worked immediately. No set up was required other than putting in the batteries. It does not come with batteries. You need AA x 2. It has a nice feel to it and works perfectly.

Good replacement
I bought this item to replace the existing remote control. It works well and it was easy, as always, to collect it from our Argos store. They had it in stock and was priced very competitively.

Maybe use a universal remote. Didn't chance it!
My neighbour had trouble with his Sony remote as two buttons failed. He got by with a spare universal remote I gave him. That done most things but he couldn't stop a usb recording. The Sony version Argos sell done that. To set up the remote turn TV on (not on standby) and hold the remote power button down until the TV switches off. Then Iet go straight away. It tries a new code every 3 seconds. So as soon as the TV switches off bingo you've got the correct code.
