I'm really happy with this. It's great that's it's rechargeable making it easy to work outside. The carry case is very handy for keeping everything together and the supplied accessories are more than enough for most tasks. The rotation speed is also adjustable to super fast speeds.

Cordless is great
I replaced an old broken multitool with this. It is great, good range of speeds and I really like the ability to position it to just the right angle for craft project which is made easier by being cordless. It seems to hold a decent amount of charge.

Disappointed.
Very disappointed from a brand like black & decker.. it comes across well made, however when using it, you soon establish its got a rubbish motor. After a short time the battery is dead and it cuts out with intense use, quite pointless.

The battery in the Black + Decker Cordless Multitool & Accessories is charged using a USB charger supplied. You would need to check with the airline as to whether it can be taken on board in hand luggage or whether it would need to be included in the hold luggage.

Our supplier has advised that the Black + Decker Cordless Multitool BCRT8I rotary tool has been designed for grinding, sanding, honing and polishing a variety of materials however it has not specifically been tested with glass.

The supplier has advised that you cannot cut tiles with the Black + Decker Cordless Multitool & Accessories. They advise of the following:
"The rotary tool has been designed for grinding, sanding, honing and polishing a variety of materials. We would suggest looking into an alternative tool for cutting tiles."

To remove the drill bit on this Black + Decker Cordless Multitool & Accessories please read the following:
Hold the handle with one hand and turn the chuck counterclockwise. This will start to loosen its internal components which will free your drill bit. Continue turning the chuck until the bit falls out. Work over a desk so that the bit doesn’t fall on the floor.

The Black + Decker Cordless Multitool & Accessories does not have screwdriver attachments so cannot be used for drilling screws into brick. It is a high speed rotary tool for sanding, cutting and polishing.

Having checked, this is designed for us with the tools and fittings it comes with and is designed for use as a more general rotary tool for sanding, cutting, polishing. It's not really suited for or designed to be used with drill bits.

Mine has not come with a charger either, despite there being an empty space for one. Too many companies doing this now under the pretence that its better for the environment, which it may well be, however, for a new product, it should come with an original charger!
Just called Black and Decker after waiting 11 days for a reply after raising a service ticket, they sad that it does not come with a charger !
