Great bit of kit
I was sceptical at first at will this actually work, and it certainly works! Easy to set up and use, it out powers the actual router in the house

Good unit once it's up and running
Bought this a few weeks ago to get better wifi in the back garden. Set up was a little complicated, it wouldn't connect using the wps button so had to download the app and create an account then follow the not very clear steps, eventually got the lights on on the unit and it connected. Once it's connected to your WiFi you can move it to the desired location and it will reconnect automatically. The password you have to use for the unit is recognised automatically after the first time. After all that the unit works well and has extended the signal to my required area with a decent download speed, so overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Useless!
Absolutely disappoint. I get all leds settled and connect to this device but if I walk 6 feet from it whilst in the same room the signal drops away significantly. 12 feet and it drops away so much that my phone switches to the mobile network. I feel like I’ve been roof. Would not recommend.

Great booster
It works so well boosting the signal to my upstairs room, quite easy to set up requires an app and registration but allows you to see how many users are connected, this is the second one I have bought

Not for everyone
Don’t buy if you live in old property with internal solid brick walls, it won’t work if you move it out of the room that you’re router is in unless you connect it the old fashion way by plugging a Ethernet cable into the extender and hub/router and going probably through your walls with the extending cable. Probably need better equipment that can daisy chain 🤷♀️Easy to set up and connect in same room

Appears to do what it claims.
Had this item for 2 days and it appears to do what it claims. It seems well made and well designed. Easy to set up and improves wifi strength in bedroom which previously was very poor.

Hello there,
Yes, the TP-Link RE315 AC1200 Wi-Fi Booster is fully compatible with Starlink satellite internet systems.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi,
TP-Link Wi-Fi range extenders can work when plugged to a travel adapter. If there is no router or any travel router, it cannot work separately in a caravan.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
The RE315 is equipped with one Fast Ethernet (FE) port, supporting transmission speeds up to 100Mbps. This is a standard RJ45 port, the most commonly used Ethernet interface type in the networking field—almost all standard Ethernet cables (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, etc.) use this rectangular plug.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Allen,
The RE315 is compatible with most standard Wi-Fi routers, including non-TP-Link brand routers such as the Sky Max all-fiber router. Therefore, generally speaking, it should work with your Sky router.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
The RE315, as a range extender, can indeed extend your router's network. However, whether it's suitable for your actual installation environment depends on factors such as distance, obstacles, and wireless interference.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
The TP-Link Range Extender is broadly compatible with most standard Wi-Fi routers, including both TP-Link and non-TP-Link models. However, compatibility issues may arise with routers or gateways that use modified, outdated, or non-standard firmware.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Laz,
This range extender is compatible with your EE router. Our range extender generally does not have compatibility issues with other brands of routers.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
To configure the TP-Link range extender, power it on next to the router and follow these steps:
Method One: Using the WPS Button.

Hi,
We recommend using a Range Extender for outside in small/medium-sized homes or open space environments with few physical obstacles to the propagation of the signal. If you need an extended wireless network in a property with very thick walls, it is better to aim for a powerline device. Here are more details about powerline product: https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/po...
Thanks for using Q&A.
