Great but returned due to fault.
I itially impressed,flame effect excellent, threw out sufficient heat to get room up to temp saving on gas central heating trying to catch up. Looked great. Quite light, unfortunately after working great for one night second use no flame effect.Following on line advice found the fan that helps create the flame effect had ceased to work. Returned item for full refund, will not buy again as problem has caused me to lose faith in the product. Left five stars on performance as whilst working it was fine.

So Realistic
This Dimplex Fire is so realistic and a pleasure to have on esp at night with the light off. It looks great in the room and really fits in well. Setup is very easy. I would recommend reading the manual and it will be quick to setup. Use filtered tap water , its a must. Clean regular and its so easy to take the parts out to clean. I highly recommend this over any other types made as its so real looking.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Dimplex Evandale 2kW Optimyst Electric Stove Fire
There is a fan in the sump which blows the mist upwards through the slot. This can be heard slightly but should not be very loud.
