Great beam and overall quality
Ran a night time a technical course, so I needed a trustworthy headtorch that casts a decent beam. This one successfully did the trick, offering a bright beam and a near by/ further beam tilting headtorch option too - in this way, I avoided tree roots and stayed upright!! Found the headband comfortable too and it’s adjustable. Ran for 90 mins and the brightness was the same bright standard throughout.

Engergizer Vision Ultra LED Headlamp
Red light flashes when using just the single white light, which is a bit annoying.

Works well, good visibility
Bought this so I could investigate potential rat activity in the loft without holding my phone flashlight all the time. The distance it throws light on is very good, reaches further than the phone. And it frees up my hands to do other things. The tilt feature is very handy when you need to adjust your viewing angle.

Hello Wheezer,
Energizer Vision Ultra LED 450 Lumen Headlamp.
The Energizer Vision Ultra LED Headlamp is designed to provide up to 50 hours of runtime on the lowest setting. While some users report a runtime of about 1 hour even with high-powered batteries, the general consensus is that it can last around 150 hours under optimal conditions. Therefore, it is likely that the headlamp can last approximately 150 hours under the right usage conditions.
Thank you.
Hi Jb,
Yes, the Energizer Vision Ultra LED Headlamp is dimmable.
Thank you for using Q&A
It isnt waterproof as the Argos employee suggests.
Its IPX4 which means its splash proof, waterproof would imply that the torch could withstand a submersion in water which it cannot.
Hi Eddie,
Yes, the Energizer Vision Ultra LED Headlamp is waterproof.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Steve
Our supplier says "The current version of this torch is 450 lumens. It is a battery operated headlight and is not rechargeable.
3 AAA batteries are included. The ultra headlight is at the higher end of the battery operated scale."
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi Wheeler
This has been designed as more of a torch and will not have been tested for reading for long periods.
We would not be able to recommend using it this way
Thanks for using Q & A
