Bought this so I could investigate potential rat activity in the loft without holding my phone flashlight all the time. The distance it throws light on is very good, reaches further than the phone. And it frees up my hands to do other things. The tilt feature is very handy when you need to adjust your viewing angle.

It isnt waterproof as the Argos employee suggests.
Its IPX4 which means its splash proof, waterproof would imply that the torch could withstand a submersion in water which it cannot.

Our supplier says "The current version of this torch is 450 lumens. It is a battery operated headlight and is not rechargeable.
3 AAA batteries are included. The ultra headlight is at the higher end of the battery operated scale."
