How to reach the lowest setting
Stand the board vertically.
Release the lock. On the underside of the ironing board, there is a lever (often referred to as 'B' in the manual). You will need to press this lever to disengage the locking mechanism that holds the height in place.
While pressing the lever, push the legs of the ironing board outwards and downwards.
Press the lever and push down fully. As you continue to push the legs down, the board will descend to its various height settings. To get to the lowest setting of 61 cm.
Release the lever to lock the board in the new, lower position

You can iron on the heat resistant part of the Brabantia 135 x 45cm Ironing Board Titan Oval. It is there if you just wish to rest the iron while you are moving a garment. As long as you have the iron on the correct setting this should not affect delicate clothes.

Hi just bought this ironing board from argos, but it didnt come with the red ball child lock.

“ The red ball is the child lock – you attach it to the adjustment handle once the ironing board is at the correct height, and it prevents a child from playing with the handle and the ironing board collapsing. ”

The mesh should not rust if kept and stored indoors. The 10 year manufactures guarantee covers any manufactures fault, this does not cover misuse or accidental damage.

The end section of the cover is heat resistant instead of having an iron stand, like on other ironing boards. You are able to place your iron face down on this heat resistant area for short periods of time whilst ironing.
