This Petface Cooling Dog Coat can be used in hot weather to cool down your dogs. It is also ideal to be used for unwell dogs to reduce their temperature. It is activated by water, as you put the coat on and then put the water on. Lightweight, the coat is cool and soft to the touch making it comfortable for your dog to wear. Hand wash only using cold water. Coat size is 40cm.

The coat reminds me of a chamois leather - you just soak it in water and it really does stay cool. It needs to be kept wet even when not in use otherwise it will dry out. We walked our cocker spaniel up Snowdon on quite a warm and humid day - when you felt underneath his coat he was super cool. We did dip both our dog and the coat in the streams along the way but I am completely sold on this product being highly efficient in keeping our furry little friend super cool! I don’t know how long it will actually last but if we get one summer out of it I will be happy! I will definitely purchase another one of these coats when this one dies! Brilliant piece of dog kit!

Bought this in the recent hot spell while away on holiday. It’s a really good fit for our 11kg cockapoo. The 30cm was a bit too tight around the tummy. Really like the fact it came already damp so could be used immediately. We put her harness on over the top and it was still a comfortable fit for her. It does a great job and she looks forward to it going on on hot days.
