The maximum wattage is 10W LED.

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Fretwork Shade can be cleaned using a clean dry soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths or polishes as this may cause damage to the product.
Always disconnect the power supply when cleaning.

This hasn’t been tested to ensure it’s durability in a damp bathroom environment so we can’t guarantee the shade wouldn’t rust over time.

Can't see why not. Mine is in my downstairs hall. Its really nice, very bright if you have a good bulb in. Especially if you've silver in your bathroom. Looks expensive.
