About this product
Keep your lawn neat with the Flymo EasiGlide Plus 330V hover lawnmower. It's a corded electric mower designed for small to medium gardens. The 1700W motor floats on an air cushion so you'll glide over uneven ground. You can manoeuvre easily around flower beds and obstacles. Dual lever handles let you operate comfortably with either hand. The grass box has a viewing window so you'll know when it needs emptying. A metal blade delivers clean cuts across the lawn.
You'll adjust between four cutting heights to match your preferred finish. The quick-fold handles collapse for vertical storage in tight spaces. A 10m power cable gives you good reach around the garden. The grass box collects up to 20L before you need to empty it. This corded mower means consistent power throughout the job. It's got a safety switch for added protection during use.

Er, well, er, it cuts the grass, just about. Nothing to write home about, flimsy construction and awkward grass collection box. I accept nothing is made to last but this has gone too far. Cheap and nasty compared with previous Flymo lawnmowers.

Used it today for the first cut of the year. It had no problem dealing with the winter growth and most important due to its power it did not take much physical effort. It has a generous capacity so your not emptying it every few minutes. Its light enough to maneuver anywhere on the lawn. The adjustable height was ideal for the first cut.

I bought this to replace the model like this I previously had for 4/5 years this one does not perform as well. As the Flynn I previously had , the box is awkward to empty and doesn’t cut like my other Flynn did with two spacers on it . I had 2 previous ones and couldn’t fault them

Easy to set up and gives a great cut
Much easier to change the height than my old Spear & Jackson, and lighter too. People have even commented that my lawn looks better now and I'm very pleased with the cut it gives. My garden has never looked so good!

Having checked I can see you do not need to use the spacer but you will not be able to adjust the cutting height. If you need help with this please contact customer services on 0345 640 2020.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flymo EasiGlide Plus 330V 33cm Corded Hover Lawnmower: Unfortunately we can not advise the use of a grass collecting machine without the grass box. They are designed to be used as they are manufactured.

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
"Unfortunately they aren't interchangeable. Because of the different requirements and mechanisms of the machines, the different product ranges usually have different spacers.
I've just checked the EasiGlide and the TurboLite and the spacers are different. We would not advise using the spacers from your EasiGlide in another machine".

The differences are that 9164301 has an extra large vision window, you can stand it up for easy storage, the other 8848037 does not have a vision window, I will get description amended

Yes it needs assembly
Be careful when tightening the cable lugs that go on the side of the handle, you can keep winding them in and they will crush the tubular handle, “ too thin “
