Damaged Mug on opening the box
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor this time. We use these mugs and my mom liked them while visiting out home. We gifted her these mugs blindly trusting that they would be ok. We got to know that one of the mugs was damaged when the box was opened. There wasn't any broken piece in the box, so likely this was a manufacturing fault. We informed customer support and they asked us to visit store for a partial refund, as we don't possess the items and getting them shipped back is more costly than the item itself. But when visiting store, they refused to issue a partial refund. The lessons we learnt are. 1. Dont blindly trust the quality of Argos products, specially when gifting someone. 2. There isn't any synchronization between the physical stores and online support. They will keep directing you to one another.
