Good food ready when we are.
Love my crockpot. Cooks well. Easy to clean. Prefer these with the removable lid. Yes you have to find somewhere to put it while you’re serving up but it’s so much easier to clean than the ones that stay on a hinge. Simple controls nothing too fancy but does the job. Not good if you want one that will switch to a different setting on its own after a period of time. But if you’re happy to leave it cooking all day it’s perfect. I prefer less controls - less to go wrong from experience. Big enough to hold a full meal (meat, veg & potatoes) for 3 - 4 people or if only cooking part of the meal in here (eg doing meat and veg but cooking potatoes separately) it should do 5 or 6 people. Glad they still make this style in different sizes.

Great temp
Great at maintaining a consistent temperature .

Good for making broth
Bought this size as will be used to make bone broth and happy with it - but I do find the it very heavy when full, for general purposes I would have chosen a smaller model. Would like an 'on' indicator light, although it is quite obvious when it is in use.

Warm setting not warm enough
Would have liked a power on light. The Warm setting is not quite warm enough. Other than that, a decent slow cooker.

Hi H42,
The Crockpot 5.6L Slow Cooker features a bowl made from stoneware, not a non-stick Teflon material. Stoneware is generally considered safe and does not have the same concerns about chemical leaching that non-stick coatings like Teflon might have.
