Very bad
There should be a danger to health warning on this product! Even after flushing this machine twice it still gave off very bad fumes which lingered throughout the house. Returned it to Argos the very next day so as to get rid of the lingering chemical smell

Great coffee with some quirks
I bought this a few weeks ago and been using near daily since. The coffee itself is great, very clean tasting and brewed well. If you buy it, pour a little bit more water in than you think because some will evaporate during the brewing process. After it indicates being done, the coffee is actually still dripping for a minute or so, but that might be due to the filter I’m using. Not super loud, but leftover water drops do make a hissing noise sometimes which is a bit scary but can get used to it easily.

Good simplistic coffee maker
Easy to use and lightweight it doesn't take up too much room in the kitchen yet the pot is generous enough to make a large amount of coffee which is brewed in just a few minutes. Great product.

Smelly
I bought this machine to replace the same model which I had for several years. Unfortunately this one gave off an awful chemical type smell which also tainted the coffee. I used it for over a week alternating coffee and plain water but the bad smell and taste remained the same. I have returned it to Argos, got a refund and ordered a replacement (Morphy Richards);which is perfect.
