My main hob!
These have changed slightly from the first one I bought. They are still the same in looks but the features have very slightly changed. Not that it makes a difference. Have had a few of these over the years due to the glass top eventually becoming so dull or marked that they just no longer connect with the pans. Reccomend that when cleaning wipe with a damp cloth but dry it with a microfiber cloth to prevent scratching the surface. Do not use abrasive cloths on these as it will scratch the glass. These are my main source of cooking along side my air oven and ninja crispi, as I've not had a standard cooker for the last 30 yrs. These are cheaper to purchase should they eventually go wrong and are a lot cheaper to run than a standard cooker. The pans do cost a bit but last for years so you do get your moneys worth in use. Quiet to run, although they do take up a little bit of counter space when being used but to me the electric savings and cooking time and usage outweigh the size/space. I will continue to purchase these when the ones I have get old and can no longer connect with the pans. Great make/model. Easy to use. Cheap to run. These have been my go to bench top hobs for years now and I wouldn't go back to a standard hob/oven.

Great 👍
My electric hob gave up so I needed something for short term use and this was great. Cooks much faster than my old cooker. If there is a double hob I might get one.

Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Ken,
Our supplier has advised the following regarding the Tefal IH201840 Induction Hob - Black.
The product is design for house hold mains and current supply. We do know of consumers who have fitted them into Camper Vans but with DC to AC converter systems that are spec’d to cover the max current and voltage required. There are on the camping market low wattage induction hobs, ours is not a low wattage hob.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Rosemary, yes this appliance is an electrical appliance with a uk plug.
