About this product

If you loved classic cartoons, Cuphead is a nostalgia trip with a serious challenge. This run and gun action game looks like it walked out of the 1930s. Every frame is hand-drawn cel animation, backgrounds are watercolour paintings, and the soundtrack features original jazz recordings. Play as Cuphead or Mugman battling through strange worlds with imaginative boss fights demanding precision and skill. Available as a digital download for Xbox One and compatible with Xbox Series X and S, rated PEGI 3, though the difficulty may surprise younger players.

The game focuses on boss battles rather than lengthy platforming, so expect intense one-on-one showdowns testing your reflexes. Play solo or team up with a mate in local co-op, making tougher encounters more manageable. As you progress, collect new weapons, unlock powerful super moves, and uncover hidden secrets adding depth beyond surviving each fight. The adventure revolves around paying back a debt to the devil, giving the run and gun action a darkly comedic edge that suits the vintage cartoon aesthetic perfectly.
