The supplier has advised the following for the Remington R4 Style Cordless Rotary Electric Shaver R4001:
“ Waterproof and washable are 2 different things. Waterproof means it can be in touch with water when shaving, washable would mean you would probably want to wash the product thoroughly or in the dishwasher, which is not advised.
We do not advise for the product to be washed. ”

The charge time for the battery from empty to full charge is 16 hours not only the first charge. The first charge is advised to be a full charge for a battery as it helps with its longevity.
