Bought to read codes on 3 vehicles. 2 vehicles had error codes that we knew about but this did not pick up any of them. Also alot cheaper at euro car parts

Does the job
Pretty basic but works with most cars built after 2002 with an obd2 port. It tells you fault codes, you can clear them but if it’s a fault that needs looking at the engine management light will come back on. It can tell you the VIN and other information about the car that can be useful

From the information we have available, I can advise the Streetwize Multilingual Diagnostic OBDII Code Reader should work with your 2004 Mitsubishi Shogun. This code reader is compatible with all petrol vehicles from 1996 onwards and diesel vehicles from 2004 onwards, as long as they are OBD II compliant.
To ensure compatibility, check if your vehicle has a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) and that the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label states it is OBD II compliant.

From the information we have available, I can confirm this Streetwize Multilingual Diagnostic OBDII Code Reader is compatible with petrol vehicles from 1996 onwards and diesel vehicles from 2004 onwards.
Please note: The reader will not read codes for airbags and braking systems. Also, it is not compatible with motorcycles, hybrid & electric vehicles.

Yes it reset O2 Sensor Fault code on my car, but will only reset if fault isn't present at time of reset.
