Large Crockpot
Purchased to replace a sizzle and sear crockpot with a digital dial - that was over double the price and suddenly stopped working. Went back to basics and this Crockpot basically ‘does what it says on the tin.’ Large quantity crockery bowl and a simple dial, much less to go wrong. If I’m being picky, a slightly longer lead/cable would maybe have been a bit better. Have made a curry and a few other things in it so far, no complaints at all.

Easy to use and perfect for batch cooking
I bought this 2 weeks ago and am so pleased with it. It is simple to use and large enough to make up 8 portions, possibly 10 so perfect for batch cooking. Pot is also easy to clean.

Excellent crockpot
Excellent crockpot. Have used it a few times and very happy with it. Capacity is great. . Convenient when out all day. I put a large whole chicken in, in the morning and it's ready after work. Best of all, I got the crockpot in an Argos sale so saved a lt of money.

Finally got one and glad I did
I got this a few weeks back and its amazing, the size i got is easily big enough for a family of 4 and to be honest could easily do 8, only cooked a few times in it but its so easy and the meat turns out really good. If there is a criticism to have I would say it would be nice to have a little red LED light on each of the settings you select, just for piece of mind that its on and working but other than that I can't fault it. The price between cooking in this crockpot and doing the same meal in the oven is crazy, you save so so much money

Hello Jean,
The supplier has advised the following for the Crockpot 6.5L Slow Cooker - Black:
"The inner pot is made from ceramic with a glass‑like silicate glaze composed of quartz, feldspar and clay; it is fired at high temperatures and does not contain PTFE or PFOA. This means the pot has no “forever chemicals” in its coating."

Hi Shakie,
The high setting will cook the meat faster in three to six hours depending what meat you are using and at a slightly greater temperature. And it’s also a good option if you’ve forgotten to put your cooker on and need your meal to cook quicker.
