Excellent watch for not a lot of money.
I bought this as I needed a cheap and reliable watch to wear at work. I immediately changed the provided strap as it’s not very good and was surprised at how good the watch looks on a quality leather strap. It keeps excellent time, is extremely legible and an ideal watch to wear if you don’t mind it taking the occasional knock. Oh and the seconds hand hits all the markers on the dial!

If it were pigskin leather it should be easily recognised by a repeating pattern of three closely grouped tiny pinhole spots across the leather. Pigskin leather usually has a distinctive smell although it is not always strong enough to notice easily.
This information could help Argos identify the type of leather before sale.
