A little disappointed...
I wanted an alarm clock with the light feature, as this one said it had a sensor which you can turn on or off it suited me. However, during normal day light hours the clock face is dull and the digits difficult to read, the sensor light is blue in colour and not very bright. I would like a clock face with a bright background to see the characters more clearly. The sensor light could also be a little brighter with a white light.

Bought this alarm clock to replace old one of 30yrs very disappointed with quality,difficult buttons to press on back,you have to be staring straight at the face to see it clearly. Alarm ring not very loud. Naively thought it was mains run,but sadly batteries not supplied

New alarm clock
This clock looks nice. Impossible to see the numbers further away than 18 inches , useless if you want to have the clock at the other side of the room. The same applies when you have the night time type setting activated. The buttons to alter the time are small and fiddly and it seems as if you have to go through the whole process to alter anything. I wonder if whoever designed it ever checked out these issues. It is expensive for what it is and I should have returned it.

The supplier has advised the following for the Constant Large Display Digital Alarm Clock - Silver:
“When you press the snooze button does it make a noise?
During the normal display, press the snooze button will turn the back light on. During the alarm set display, after the alarm sounds, press the snooze button will snooze the clock for five minutes.
How do you check what time the alarm is set to and does this make a noise?
When the clock in normal time display, press the “ALM SET” button on the back of the clock to switch to alarm display mode, you can check and set the alarm. Ensure to move the “ON/OFF” switch on the right-hand side of the case to the “ON” position, to turn the alarm function on. A bell icon will appear on the display to indicate that the alarm function is ON.”

Having checked I can see this is not continuously lit. There is a button on the top that needs to be pressed for the back light to come on. If the light button is not pressed the display would be as a normal display as in image 1/4.
