Stylish bedside light
Have bought two of these as bedside lamps. They are easy to put together just unscrew the white fitting where the bulb goes and fit the shade and re screw on the white fitting this holds the shade in place then screw in the bulb your good to go. No idea why some people on previous reviews saying they used cello tape Duhhh. It’s non dimmable but gives off a soft light with the correct bulb. Don’t buy dimmable bulbs pointless. Overall a nice stylish light very happy with purchase.

It is a Halogen bulb, so a filament type and not LED. It is a little more efficient than the old filament bulbs and gives a whiter light. It is nowhere near as efficient as LED and uses about 7x more electricity for the same light output. They were intended as a stop-gap between the old bulbs and the LED type. They are not ecological in any sense, except that perhaps it saves you replacing the light fixture.
