Lovely tense machine. Very compact
Great tense Machine. Very compact size and can easily fit in your pocket. I love the different setting if and the image on the back of the machine is really handy to know, where to put the pads and what setting does what. The only thing it’s could do with being a bit more stronger, especially for the back setting. I would recommend it and I’ve enjoyed using it

Handy size pain relief.
This pocket sized tens machine is perfect for those troublesome aches and pains that us nr 50y olds and over are susceptible to. The tens machine itself fits in the palm of your hand and has 5 settings. It comes with two pads and a storage unit to keep the pads on when not in use. There are instructions on where and how to place the pads for a range of areas on the body. I tried it on the top of my foot for a subluxation problem and it did relieve the pain. I will be trying it next on my perimenopausal shoulders. This is just perfect for those aches and pains and id recommend any PM/M woman to keep one to hand. My other half also used it on his hip and was impressed.

Great device to have at home
This Pocket Tens machine is great for multiple ares of the body. It comes well packaged and is small enough to store easily or take away. There are multiple settings with clear easy to ready instructions. The pads are reusable and come with storage to stick them to whilst not in use. The effects of this were felt immediately. It is battery powered which are supplied and the wires are long enough to reach comfortably. Overall very pleased with this

Compact and easy to use
This device is compact and straight forward to use. It gave good relief however I did find I needed to use it on the highest setting to get the full effect. If I had to give one area that could do with improvement I would say the sticky pads don’t hold their stick very well and would need replacing quite often.

Quick relief from pain.
Simple and highly effective pain relief. The pack is easy to set up (don't be over whelmed by biggish instructions!!) and offered me immediate relief. Like many I suffer with lower back pain and after a days shopping I thought I would give the pocket tens a try.....I wasn't dissapointed. The pads produce a tingling type feeling which is quite intense on highest setting but I found level 2 enough, there is a long way to go for more severe pain. I used a tens many years ago during my first labour so I knew to expect the tingling sensation, I found it quite relaxing tbh! Highly recomend this product for medication free relief from lower back pain.

pain relief and compact to carry
This pocket pain relief machine is lightweight and compact to carry easily. It has 3 preset pain programs and 2 massage like modes. I was able to put it together and use it fairly quickly and it works fine the first time helping to relieve the pain. I am pleasantly surprised at how this little machine works. The pads are sticky enough to be on the skin without falling off. Overall a good helpful machine that’s easy to carry as well.

Early days but signs are good!
I keep having pain in my back since my son grew up as he has a neurological disorder and often has seizures and i have to put him into recovery position. I didn't have high hopes for this to be honest as its tiny and even when i had it on i was thinking 'what on earth will this do'. But. Honestly after using it even once I did have more movement on my back. I think if i keep going it will help me long term. The pads were less sticky second time so i need to re read the instructions to see how to renew them. The pads are as dear to buy as the unit which seems really strange.

Great compact tens machine
Compact tens machine suitable to be used discreetly whilst out and about really came in handy on my long car journey. It has seceral diffeewnt settings the massage ine is really good to help with those niggling aches. The reuseable pads are really sticky and don't slip off. Its easy to use and store away

Good for pain relief
Overall this was a good product for pain relief and helped me with some monthly symptoms. It does have different settings and 1-5 power ratings so you can adjust to move up or down whilst it is on. It’s really easy and simple to fit in your hand so can be used on the go and very mobile. It does work for pain relief but definitely for lighter pain even on the top setting, but it is good for this especially if you still need to be out and about using it.

OMRON Pocket TENS Machine
The Electrode Pads, including the ‘ePlus LongLife Pads’ do require periodic replacement. However, it is often possible to extend the life of the pads by simply rinsing them under a cold water faucet (no soap is required), shaking off the excess moisture, return the pads to the clear plastic cover sheet or the plastic holder (ePlus LongLife Pads only), and then place the pads in the refrigerator overnight (not the freezer). This should restore the adhesion of the pads. If it does not, the pads are worn and should be replaced. Contact your nearest OMRON retailer to obtain these.

Hey! I am not answering on behalf of Argos, but from my personal experience, a TENS machine is an awesome way of fighting the cramps. It basically kinda numbs you, just put them on either side of your belly button a few inches down. Hope you have a good experience!

"Based on the information provided by our product team, our tens machines do not have specific validation for period pain. As a result, it is not mentioned in the instruction manual as an intended use. However, it is worth noting that the device can be used for lower back pain, which often coincides with period pain."
(We'd have to also add here that we cannot give direct medical advice and we'd advise that you check with a suitably qualified medical professional as to what sort of products would be suitable for use with period pain and whether they'd be happy that this device would help or not).
