Yes steam up inside but only on certain foods like porrage, the door opens quite easily and has a quite mode so excellent device,
It can be set at 1-sec intervals sub 30s, 5-sec intervals up to 1min,10-sec up to 4min,tge 30s intervals above that. Very well thought out.
