Excellent but…
These are wonderful bulbs. Very large and super bright which is what I need. One of them was defective and developed an annoying whine and then eventually started to flicker after only a couple of months. Returning was easy and reimbursement was prompt. I do notice that a few other people have mentioned this, however, so it’s obviously a fault in some of them. Otherwise just great and transformative for me as I have very poor sight.

Good bright lightbulb
Bought this a month ago to replace the same product that was beginning to fail. Nice bright, but not harsh, light, that illuminates the room well. It's a lightbulb, not much else to say. Apart from the fact that Argos was the only store that had them in stock and one of very few that even carried them. Well done Argos. Without them we'd have been living in the dark!

Excellent quality of light. Even with great colour. But check your light fitting will accommodate the bulb.

Never buying again
I have bought this light bulb twice, it lasted 3 months and then purchased again and it lasted 3 days when it should of lasted more than a year, thought it would be really good as it’s a Philips and it’s not like it’s cheap so have no faith in this light bulb
