Disappointing
Really very disappointing. The automatic milk frothing just doesn’t produce any kind of stiff froth. Just thin bubbles. Manual steaming is no better. Save your money and buy a cheaper one.

Not bad, coffees nice, haven't had the honeycomb look it advertises on the demo in the app but nice enough. No complaints, tried a few different beans now as I grind them with a small grinder I also bought from argos and just trying them out the now, I prefer stronger browns had strength 4 5 and just abt to try 7 Nero beans which will probably suit me. Also big plus is that uts quiet and can make a coffee at any hour without a great noise which I was looking for when choosing a machine. Over all im glad I bought it, so far so good, been making 3 a day and the app is there with a simple guide for anything I need to check or recheck, haven't cleaned or descaled it yet but hopefully that'll be fine when I have to. You need filters, one every 2 or 3 months I think! I got 3 from amazon for 12 pounds so that's fine too.

Good little machine - great latte
Bought 3 weeks ago. Very happy, makes good coffee and simple to foam the milk - great latte. Has the level of automation I wanted. Compact unit so it is not very heavy, one has to hold the unit in place when taking the portafilter on and off. A very minor critique, it doesn't effect the quality of the coffee produced!

I love this product!
I love this product. My previous coffee maker died (different make and just out of guarantee) but I actually prefer this one. I love the froth and heat setting buttons, they make it so easy to make the perfect coffee!

Really good simple coffee machine
I bought this 2 months ago and it's my first coffee machine. It's easy to use and produces a good cup of coffee and the milk heater/frother works well too. It stops working when the water reservoir is empty and also when it needs a clean - the cleaning tablet provided with the machine sorted that out. I definitely recommend this as a first coffee machine. We're really glad we bought it.

You need to buy a separate grinder. The Sage grinder is superb, I own both.

The Bambino Plus SES500BSS doesn't take Pods, it only takes grounded coffee beans, please note the unit doesn't have a grinder.
