The Squares Plus storage unit has a simple, contemporary design perfect for creating an open and airy look in your home. You can leave the open shelving as it is, or customise with our matching cupboards, drawers or canvas boxes (sold separately). Great in any room, we've made sure it has extra thick frames and hidden fittings, so it looks super smooth from any angle. In order to prevent overturning this furniture must be securely attached to the wall.

Opened packaged and a lot of the parts were badly marked/scratched/dirty. Assembly was difficult, as some of the dowels would not slot in without using force with a hammer, which resulted in further damage. Really poorly made and packaged. Eventually managed to build, great concept and looks ok but not very tough. Using as toy storage in my living room for my daughter. Bought similar set up from Homebase in the past which was a dream to build. Expected better from Habitat

Not a good purchase!
Bought two of these to put together. Both boxes were battered on collection. Badly packed with little protection. Both were covered in scratches and looked like they had already been put together once and then dismantled. Both were returned. Cheaper and better from Ikea!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit: While it is possible to assemble this unit by omitting one of the short dividers, it will invalidate any guarantee, safety conformity etc.. Note that one internal divider spans the whole unit with 2 short dividers running in the other direction. Also note that if a divider is omitted it will leave visible holes in the panels.

Standard 12-inch vinyl records typically have covers measuring around 31.43 cm (12.375 inches) square. This means the cubes in the Habitat unit should comfortably fit your vinyl records.

The external sides and top and bottom shelves of the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit - Black are all full sized panels therefore it would not be possible to just have one cube on the top to give an L shaped unit.
