Sturdily built
I've bought this excercise bike a month ago now and with daily use it seems to handle it really well. The seat is nice and comfortable and the back rest useful. The resistance bands are an added bonus

It's good so far!
I have not had the bike long, but I was able to put it together myself fairly easily (the instructions are very clear), it supports my weight, it folds up easily and neatly, and I've actually been using it! So I am very happy with it so far. I haven't investigated any exercise plans yet, so can't comment there.

Slim Cycle Exercise Bike
Very easy to assemble and appears robust despite its slim appearance . Simple to operate, although I am not convinced by the accuracy of the mileage counter, which seems to overestimate the distance cycled. It is overpriced for its relatively simplistic design and features.

This was bought to replace an older exercise cycle which I did not use because it was too uncomfortable to sit on.. This one has all the same features but is comfortable. Both myself and and husband have used it in front of a TV without to much effort. We are both fitter as a result. Excellent purchase.

Great exercise bike
I am in love with my exercise bike.Don’t need download app and pay for subsciption,youtube have plenty of exercise bike videos. Bike is very comfy,big seat which i love,because i have big bum,also back rest is great.I would love if it would come with more resistance settings,but for price its brilliant.Even my husband uses now and then and he says his legs not that sore anymore.I highly recomend this bike.

Don't pay £200 save yourself the money & misery...
Purchased this bike in April 2024 for my wife and I to use on a daily basis. I'm just in the 100kg range for the max weight and my wife is a long way below that and this looked perfect. (Note - according to the Argos site this bike takes 135kg (21stone) which ISN'T what the New Image manual says so be aware the max weight is 100kg (15 1/2 stone)!) At about three or four months use, the bike started making a clicking noise and then one pedal would go down slightly faster in time with the sound, feeling unbalanced with the other no longer moving smoothly around . I got annoyed with the clicking sound and the feeling the belt was slipping that I opened up the sealed area of the bike, out came lots of belt filing - yes the belt was waring against something I'm not sure what - nothing was scraping it, maybe the unbalanced rotation? I removed the two 12mm nuts that keep the main pulley in place, then unscrewed the two belt adjusting eye bolts and took a look at them and found the threads were stripped! Looking closer still at the threads I saw the bolt has slits deliberately manufactured down its length destroying its integrity and strength. A terrible design that in my opinion creates an inherent weakness! I managed to run a die down the eye bolts sorting out that issue and then tightened the v belt adjusters up to stop the clicking noise. That did the trick and everything was working perfectly for the first couple of uses. That is, until today while using the bike I got the clicking sound back again, then a huge snap and loss of all resistance in the pedals. So I'm 90% sure one of the v belts has now snapped! Initially I thought the bike was great, with all the features, lots of different positions for arms and the many functions bike computer, but £200 for 4 months good use and then another 5 months terrible use isn't value for money. Don't get the bike if you want it to last a year (not sure what that warranty is - a year I think). Don't get the bike if you want to use it daily. The design looks great with lots of features, unfortunately they decided to cut costs with the build quality and manufacture. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I am now looking at either buying a new v-belt or going for something different!

Instead, it’s designed for low-impact cardio where the right speed depends on your fitness level and training goal.

The Slim Cycle displays speed in MPH. It does not have the option for KPH.
