Lovely colour but not soft.
I absolutely love the colour and price, but unfortunately the material feels rough rather than soft. I hadn't bought poly-cotton before so I didn't realise until it was too late. I assumed it might not be AS soft as a more expensive cover but surprised by the material would have a rough texture. I'm going to try washing it on different cycles to see if I can improve it but unfortunately we have had to use our old covers in the meantime.

Hi Becca,
I’m sorry to hear that your Habitat Polycotton Plain Rust Bedding Set - Double feels scratchy! Here are a few tips to help soften it up:
Wash with Baking Soda and Vinegar: Add half a cup of baking soda to the wash cycle and half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. This can help soften the fabric.
Use Fabric Softener: Adding a good quality fabric softener to your wash can make a big difference.
Multiple Washes: Sometimes, polycotton blends need a few washes to break in and become softer.
I hope this helps.
