Still in testing phase
So, we haven't had a Vax before, but we have had Shark, Hoover etc. We have also had a few years with a unnamed vax wannabe, so to end my husband's incessant whinging about said wannabe, not charging long enough, not sucking enough, getting tangled and always being compared to a Vax, i thought sod it, am going to buy one. So, we are still in the testing phase. husband preferring the wannabe, as Vax is too big for the windowsill in conservatory. Go Figure!!!

I’ve had this vacuum nearly a month now after having two Air Stretch Pet Max’s for years. I bought this one because the reviews seemed so good, but I have to admit, I am disappointed - it’s nowhere near as good and I wish I had bought the Air Stretch Pet Max again.

Heavy but good
Bought a couple of weeks ago, very good vacuum for carpets but it is quite heavy. The small part that hold accessories has broken off the first day when I navigated the vacuum around a corner and I hit the wall with the side

Great but the cord should be retractable
Great machine, suction is excellent, pulls out ALL the pet hair. Easy to lift out and use on the stairs and very, very easy to empty. Only annoying feature is there’s no retractable cord… there’s a hook on the handle to thread it through / hang it on but the cord still gets in the way when you’re vacuuming.

Definitely an upgrade
Bought this to replace my old petair lift away and this is so much better. Not only is the suction amazing, but there has obviously been some input into the design from people who use vacs regularly. The multiple methods of removing the hand held part, the storage for tools on the vacuum and the cord clip are all little changes which make a massive different. Even the way the bin and filter are designed has reduced the clogging of the filter which occured on the last model.

Great vacuum cleaner!
I am very impressed with this machine. It is simple to put together and a joy to use! I did not find it too heavy or cumbersome as some have said. The lift out facility is brilliant. It allows access, particularly under beds and hard to reach areas. I was astounded at what it picked up. It also looks easy to keep clean. I have a Miele bagless machine and it is extremely hard to keep clean in the dust chamber. The flex on this Vax is very long and yes, it could get annoying but just ensure it is attached to its clip on the handle and it won’t get in the way too much. Overall, great ease of use and satisfying to use! Also I did not find it overly noisy! It came with a car kit which I have not yet tested.

Wouldn’t recommend whilst this is great for carpets the attachments have barely any suction so you are unable to use well for corners and stairs now left with having to buy another one to replace this when bought less than a month ago

Excellent suction, beneficial attachments and long cord ensures I could go all around my car and hoover every area plus easily covers upstairs and downstairs of house from one socket
