I have been using it for over a week now and the coffee it produces is amazing but when you are a family of 4 and all drink coffee it takes too long to make them for us all. I wish I had waited for the auto barista to become back in stock to and got that one instead.

A Game Changing Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading from a traditional bean-to-cup machine to the Ninja Luxe Café Premier Plus has been a game changer. Design & Footprint - One of the first things that stands out is the thoughtful engineering. Despite having multiple tools, accessories and parts, everything has a designated home built right into the compact chassis. It keeps the countertop looking tidy and uncluttered. However, there is one notable design quirk: the spare stand to place short glasses. It features a hole in the middle, which makes placing a standard espresso glass underneath the portafilter unstable on its own. I’ve had to resort to placing a small coaster over the gap to safely balance smaller glasses. Performance & Smart Technology - This machine is packed with intelligent systems that handle water hardness, calibration and most notably, Barista Assist Technology, which automatically adjusts the grind size based on the basket, drink type and bean selection. As a non expert, the Barista Assist feature is fascinating, though it presents a slight learning curve. After multiple runs, I noticed quite a bit of variance in its grind recommendations for the same type of drink & beans. I’m still figuring out whether this wide variance is normal behaviour or something requiring fine-tuning, but you can decide which setting to go with based on your preference of strength/ bitterness etc. Learning Curve & Drink Variety - Unlike a fully automated bean-to-cup machine, the Ninja requires you to get your head around the various tools, tampers and parts. It takes a little practice to dial in your routine, but the quality of the drinks is a massive step up. Where this machine truly shines is versatility. Beyond standard hot coffees, the ability to effortlessly make cold drinks opens up a whole new menu. So far, I’ve tried: Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White and Mocha: All exceptional, rich and café-quality. Cold Brew with Cold Foam: Incredibly smooth and refreshing. Milk Frother - The built-in milk frother is fantastic. It consistently creates velvety, micro-foamed milk for both hot and cold preparations and it comes with an auto-purge function, which automatically cleans and flushes itself out after use, saving time on maintenance. The Verdict - If you are new to coffee machines or transitioning from a bean-to-cup machine, be prepared for a bit of a learning curve as you master the different features and elements. But if you value drink quality, variety (especially the hot & cold capabilities) and smart assistance, the Ninja Luxe Café Premier Plus is an incredible upgrade well worth the effort.
