Great vacuum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got one of these. Excellent performance. Like the sensor technology - automatically swaps between carpet and hard floors and detects when near skirting for added suction and easy to move around. The lights changing colour to let you know how much cleaning it is doing is good too. Great suction for such a small vacuum and collects dust with ease and the filters keep it in the machine. Easy to use and put together. Dust collection container a little awkward as the button for the release of the container is next to the opening the container button so be warned! Same when emptying the container in the bin - the cartridge opens from the side risking dust spillage. Battery lasts a good time but does take a while to recharge. Would be good to have the option to have the attachment fixed to the main body to keep it tidy and at hand. Overall, an excellent vacuum and would recommend.

Very Impressed
This is my first cordless vacuum cleaner as I have always been put off by reports of short battery life and loss of suction., however, so far I am extremely happy with it. All of the packaging was recyclable. There is a QR code to scan for a quick guide on how to use it but there is also a printed guide. The vacuum was very easy to put together. It's much lighter than I was expecting too. I had already vacuumed my carpets that day so I was amazed at how much extra dirt the Shark Power Detect collected. It has 3 modes, Eco, Detect and Boost. The Eco mode apparently maximises running time but I haven't had a chance to test this out yet. All in all, I'm very impressed with ease of use, suction and how light it is

Loving doing the housework with this vacuum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum yesterday and have to say I’m highly impressed. It was super easy to assemble, I didn’t need to use the instructions for this. I was initially worried that it was going to be quite heavy to hold as the battery is located where the handle is but it wasn’t at all. The vacuum was easy to manoeuvre round and smooth, you could feel how strong the suction was on it and this changes when you move from hard floor to carpet. The edge detection was brilliant, it detects the dirt and sucks it up without having to actually run the vacuum against edges of skirting boards or furniture. The vacuum has loads of lights on it that indicate when you pick up dirt and when the edge detection is in use. Makes it so much easier to see where the dirt is. There is also another great feature where it flexes to fit under furniture…game changer! it also folds in half for easy storage. It is easily detached for a handheld option for cleaning stairs, hard to reach corners or the car! The only small niggle I have with this vacuum is the dust bin, the button to detach it and the button to open it are very close together so if you inadvertently press the wrong one (like I did!) you’ll end up with dirt on the floor again! I also found it a little bit fiddly to remove to empty it as I needed both hands and was juggling with that and holding the vacuum. Lastly the dust bin opens to the side and not the bottom so it’s a bit awkward to empty. Aside from this everything else about it is fantastic, I actually enjoy vacuuming now and I would definitely recommend it! In my opinion another great product from the Shark/Ninja range!

Is this cordless Vacuum worth the money?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is fantastic, having both large rugs and wooden floor in our home the Duo Clean Detect feature is absolutely brilliant. We have a dog who molts 12 months of the year, so having a vacuum with strong sucking capability is a must, the Shark PowerDetect delivers this. It looks great too, and it has lights so you can really see where that grim is. Our vacuum didn't come with the part for the stairs, guessing you need to purchase this separately, and given the cost, one might expect it to be included. Without this part, it doesn't vacuum the stairs too well. Saying that, it did the rest of the house perfectly and we were amazed at just how much it had picked up. One other thing we noticed is that there is nowhere to store the separate crevice, it could do with a hook or something on the vacuum, otherwise you have risk of misplacing it. The next test for us is going to be our caravan, we have been looking for a decent cordless vacuum for some time and we believe this vacuum will exceed our expectations and it will be a great much needed addition.

Very user friendly with excellent features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum arrived quickly with good communication via email from both Ninja and the courier. It was very easy to assemble and the quick start guide was very helpful. I let the battery charge fully before I used it as instructed. The suction was excellent, it picked up lots of dog hair that my old vacuum hadn't and I only vacuumed last night! I love the lights, they really show up all the dirt. The 'detect' system worked very well; switching when I moved from wooden floor to carpet. The battery lasted well, I vacuumed the whole house and there is still power left. I like the way the floor nozzle swizzles and lets you get into awkward places. I'm no spring chicken and my old vacuum was difficult to carry upstairs as it was so heavy, but this one is light weight and can be carried upstairs easily. The 'flexology' system is genius, it enables you to fold the vacuum over so it is compact and easy to store away. The filter looks easy to clean and the dustbin is really easy to empty. I am very impressed with this vacuum and would highly recommend it.

Overall game changer in a cordless vacuum cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this vacuum. The dust detector is perfect as I have different flooring in each room, The suction is powerful and easily picks up dust, pet hair and debris from both carpets and hard floors. The runtime is more than enough to clean my whole house on a single charge, and the manoeuvrability makes it easy to get around furniture and into tight spaces. The dustbin is a good size, easy to empty, and keeps the whole cleaning process quick and mess-free. Love how it stands up on its own, without being lent on the wall, or falling over. Overall, it’s a great vacuum and I’d definitely recommend it.

As soon as this arrived I got the battery charged and went over the carpet that I had done that morning using my other make hoover. The new Shark had picked up so much more! I could t believe it. The device is so powerful and so easy to use. Really lightweight and easy to move about. 10 out of 10
