Samsung A27 (128 GB)
Excellent mobile phone for at least the average user. The 128 GB storage capacity model may not be enough for many of the younger users who should opt for the 256 GB version but for the older people like me who don't care about video and photo storage on the phone, 128 GB is enough. Overall, I am very pleased with the phone after about a week of use. Admittedly, jumping from a 2017 Samsung Galaxy J3 to the A27 is a big leap, so no wonder I am impressed! Transferring my old data to the new phone was also fairly easy by following the prompts on the A27 to pair with the old phone and transmit the data wirelessly. Beware of the bloatware though - I spent a few hours uninstalling unwanted apps and optimising to make the phone as fast as possible and free up some memory. Consider that 20 GB will be consumed even if you uninstall nearly everything, which leaves you with the rest of the phone's storage capacity (I'd say about 80 GB) to store your own apps and other stuff.

DOES NOT SUPPORT eSIM
Product not as described! Argos advertised the Samsung A27 as being eSIM compatible. IT IS NOT eSIM COMPATIBLE. I bought this phone specifically to use in Canada with an eSIM. The difference in specifications from the A17 were not significant to warrant the price difference, in my opinion, but the eSIM compatibility was the clincher. Disappointed on that score. However, the phone itself has been good and problem free. Used with a local SIM in Canada in the dual SIM slot.

A Good Phone
I am pleased with this phone. I wanted to keep my old phone but, I knew that it had to be done. I transferred it all myself. I had a few hiccups, eg, I should have left original sim cards in old phone during transfer but I got there in the end. I had to update my contacts as not all was transferred. Certain Apps did not get transferred and I had to do this eg, BTMail and WhatApp as well as my bank. I am so glad that I kept hold of my dear old phone as I could still access these Apps. I did a lot of research before choosing the new phone and knew what I wanted.

This A27 5G is SIM Free, meaning it can support a Nano SIM from any Network. This is the same size SIM as what you will have been using in your A32 5G, so it will work perfectly!
The A27 5G uses only a Nano SIM, and is not eSIM compatible. Hope this helps, Mags!

We would only recommend using official Samsung chargers with your A27 5G, as we cannot guarantee the compatibility or performance of third party chargers. This model requires a 10W charger. Hope this helps!
