Excellent upgrade at a steal of a deal price
I bought this laptop last week on a deal that was too good to pass up at the time (£1249 for the base model). Coming from an M1 MacBook Air with the same specs I can appreciate the upgrades. It's just as appealing to look at but not nearly as portable and slightly heavier. Its display is miles better and much brighter and probably the best screen in my flat now. Now I have ports and do not have to carry a dongle around to connect HDMI and SD cards. Also, it has way more power than I need for most scenarios so I just keep it in low power mode to let the battery last longer. When I do need the extra power such as when I'm processing and editing photos, it flies through the tasks. Most days when I'm doing basic tasks like making and viewing documents, web browsing, watching YouTube videos and listening to music the processor more than smashes these tasks. It does get hot compared to my Air and sometimes with lighter tasks as well when not in low power mode. The keyboard is easy to type on, similar to my Air and the trackpad I would say is an easy upgrade.

Very happy
Very happy with the computer. I haven't explored all it can do yet, but it's easy to use. It's a replacement for an older Mac and I'm very impressed with how long the battery holds charge and how efficient the system is.

Wow!!! Held off buying a MacBook for some time and my first non windows laptop. Always been an apple fan and use the iPad daily. Couldn't quite decide whether to upgrade the iPad or purchase a MacBook? Pleased I opted for the latter. Fabulous machine and oozes quality!!! Makes my Windows work laptop look like a toy!!!
